Naushad Mohideen: The Visionary Leader Behind Comfort World
Meet Naushad Mohideen, the visionary Chairman of Comfort World International (Pvt) Limited. Naushad’s journey to excellence began in Japan, where he spent seven transformative years immersing himself in the intricacies of bedding technology. Upon his return to Sri Lanka, driven by a deep-rooted desire to contribute to his homeland, Naushad established a diversified group of companies, including two BOI-approved large-scale manufacturing facilities.
Under Naushad’s leadership, Comfort World has achieved remarkable milestones, positioning itself as an industry trailblazer. He holds the distinction of being the first to secure a USA license manufacturer status for Sri Lanka and the Maldives from Spring Air International USA, one of the world’s top four bedding brands. In 2017, he further solidified Comfort World’s position by securing the license to manufacture and distribute Serta mattresses, known as the Emperor of mattresses.
Our Journey
Comfort World’s success is rooted in the science of sleep. Our journey began with the invention of the world’s first MRSA-certified mattress, co-invented by our chairman and patent holder. This groundbreaking product is now utilized in over 1600 hospitals in Japan and has undergone rigorous testing for its autonomic nervous functions at the Shiga Prefectural University.
